Hobart

Six o’clock in the morning, and Elizabeth Street is a serene haven. The quiet streets, squares, and docks are all mine to explore. In Franklin Square, the echoes of last evening’s open-air concert still linger. The air was filled with passion and excitement as people danced joyfully to the music beneath the stage. Today, only a few seagulls leisurely forage, adding a touch of tranquility.

Elizabeth Dock and Brooke Dock remain hushed, still not fully awake from their slumber. Many tall-masted ships ⛥ are quietly moored at the deep-water dock, creating a picturesque scene. Victoria Dock was the liveliest at noon yesterday, where I enjoyed fish and chips at the prime spot on the dock, followed by a delectable Pepperberry ice cream. Its unique and addictive taste left me craving more.

Walking from the dock to Salamanca, I anticipate the bustling atmosphere that will soon fill the area. Today is Saturday, and the open-air market here starts at 8 am, drawing locals and visitors alike. By seven o’clock, vendors are already busy setting up, and in just an hour, this place will be buzzing with activity.

Mount Wellington
Yesterday, we reached the summit of Mount Wellington at 3 pm. Standing on the top, the breathtaking view of the entire Hobart unfolds before you, a panoramic spectacle that leaves you in awe.

Richmond Town
In Richmond Town, history comes alive. There is an ancient church ⛪️, a charming old stone bridge, and a delightful old man hand-carving wooden koalas. His craftsmanship is so endearing that you can’t help but fall in love with each piece.
