Discover the Unique Experience of Wearing a Qipao at Sydney Opera House
😊 Lately, I’ve absolutely fallen in love with the new Chinese-style cheongsam! It’s not just a piece of clothing; it’s a vibrant expression of Chinese culture that deserves to be celebrated on a global stage!

So, I decided to don my new cheongsam and embark on an exciting journey! 😎

My first stop was the iconic Sydney Opera House, where I couldn’t resist snapping a few photos to mark the occasion. ✔️

However, during my domestic flight from Sydney to Cairns, I encountered a bit of a hiccup. Wearing my cheongsam, I felt a subtle undercurrent of prejudice. As I was boarding, a ground staff member, perhaps out of concern, reminded me in English not to make phone calls on the plane. 😓

I mean, isn’t this common knowledge? You switch off your network or put your phone in airplane mode as soon as you board, right? It was a bit frustrating, to say the least.

I wonder if any of my friends have had similar experiences. Do foreigners sometimes misunderstand us? (Of course, this was just an isolated incident.)

The entire trip to Australia lasted 13 days, with 2 of those spent on flights, and the rest on domestic travel, which was quite exhausting.

On the first day, the weather in Sydney was less than ideal—overcast and rainy. But we still managed to catch a glimpse of the stunning Sydney Opera House from a cruise boat, which was a silver lining.

Thankfully, by the third day, when we flew to Cairns, the skies cleared up, and the sun shone brightly. 🌞
That same day, I finally got the chance to explore the interior of the Sydney Opera House! It was a dream come true, blending Eastern aesthetics with European architecture. This experience truly brought home the idea of traveling in a cheongsam, bridging cultures and sharing a piece of my heritage with the world. #TravelInCheongsam #LifeFragments #SydneyOperaHouse #Sydney #SpringOpeningCeremony #AustraliaTrip #AustralianTravel
