Explore Sydney Without a Car: Top Activities and Attractions Guide
Living in Sydney without a car, I discovered that this vibrant city is a paradise for those who love to explore on foot! Here are some of my favorite spots, in no particular order:

1️⃣ Hiking from Spit Bridge to Manly
This coastal hiking trail is an absolute must-see! Spanning about 10 kilometers, the path winds through serene bays, lush forests, and breathtaking viewpoints. Once you reach Manly, don’t miss the chance to watch some beach volleyball matches at Manly Beach or discover the enchanting Wormhole.

2️⃣ Watching the Cliffs and Sea at Diamond Bay
The cliff and sea views at Diamond Bay are simply mesmerizing! The deep blue waves crashing against the rugged cliffs create a stunning backdrop for photos. Just be cautious and stay a safe distance from the edge to fully enjoy the view.

3️⃣ Taking the Manly Ferry to Manly Beach
Hop on the ferry from Circular Quay to Manly; I highly recommend the fast ferry for an exhilarating ride! At Manly Beach, make sure to catch a beach volleyball game, explore the mysterious Wormhole, and soak in the beautiful sunset in the evening.

4️⃣ Hiking and Breathing Fresh Air in the Blue Mountains
Catch a train straight to Katoomba and embark on a refreshing adventure in the Blue Mountains. The crisp, clean air and the sight of wild cockatoos add to the charm. I particularly recommend the Prince Henry Cliff Walk, which offers panoramic views of the canyons throughout the journey.

5️⃣ Capturing the Opera House and Harbour Bridge at the Botanic Gardens
The Royal Botanic Garden in Sydney is the perfect spot to capture both the iconic Opera House and the majestic Harbour Bridge in one frame! The light is most magical in the early morning or at dusk, and with fewer people around, it’s ideal for a peaceful stroll.
6️⃣ Watching the Sunset at the Observatory
Observatory Hill is a beloved spot for watching the sunset. While it can get busy, the atmosphere is always lively and festive. Overlooking the entire harbor, the Opera House and the bridge bathed in the golden glow of the setting sun create a truly romantic scene.
⭐ A Small Wish
I’ve always dreamed of tackling the Great North Walk, a scenic hike from Hornsby to Newcastle. I’ve heard the landscapes along the way are absolutely breathtaking. If anyone is up for it, let’s plan an adventure together!
