I spent an enchanting week on Chiloe Island 🏝️, a place that boasts 16 World Heritage churches, all originally constructed in the 18th and 19th centuries. These architectural gems are entirely made of wood 🏠, making their preservation a challenging yet rewarding endeavor. Over the years, they have undergone renovations to ensure their survival, but the original charm and character have been meticulously maintained. [Blushing R]

Despite the renovations, the essence of these historic structures remains intact, and you can still find traces of their rich past in the carefully preserved artifacts. [Smiling R]

During my visit, I managed to explore 12 of these magnificent churches. The journey to the remaining ones was quite a logistical challenge, with transportation 🚌 being rather inconvenient. So, I decided to focus on the ones I could easily reach, and I must say, it was a delightful experience. [Crying with laughter R]

A few of these churches truly stood out for their breathtaking beauty. If you’re planning a visit, take a look at the second picture and pick a few based on your personal style. You won’t be disappointed! [Shy R]

PS: The church in the ninth picture was captured from the window of the last bus, so there was no way to stop and explore! [Sneaky laugh R]
