The challenge for the two of us was quite significant, hahaha. Typically, we guide small groups of around six people, but this time we were in charge of a medium-sized group of over ten. Navigating a 30-seat bus through the bustling streets of Santiago and the winding roads of Valparaiso was no small feat, hahaha. The most important thing is that everyone had an incredible time and can happily move on to the next part of their journey!

Here’s a 3-day, 2-night itinerary for your reference when visiting Santiago:

**Day 1: Airport Pick-up + Los Dominicos Craft Village**
– Start your trip with a warm welcome at the airport and a visit to the charming Los Dominicos Craft Village, where you can explore local crafts and enjoy a relaxed afternoon.

**Day 2: Valparaiso – Viña del Mar – Casas del Bosque Winery**
– Spend the day exploring the colorful hills of Valparaiso, the beautiful beaches of Viña del Mar, and finish with a delightful wine tasting at the Casas del Bosque Winery.

**Day 3: Plaza de Armas + Presidential Palace + Airport Drop-off**
– Conclude your visit with a tour of the historic Plaza de Armas and the majestic Presidential Palace before heading back to the airport.

This schedule is designed to be relaxed and leisurely. If you have extra time and energy, I highly recommend adding Santa Lucía Hill and Cerro San Cristóbal to your itinerary. These spots offer stunning views and a taste of the city’s natural beauty. If it’s a weekend and many places in Santiago are closed, a picnic at O’Higgins Park is a wonderful way to experience the laid-back Chilean lifestyle.

Back at our little farm, the broad beans we planted just a few days ago have already sprouted. In the coming days, without any long trips planned, I can focus on nurturing the autumn seedlings at home 🌱
