Want to check in at the Atacama Desert from “Flowers and Youth 6”? Here’s a detailed travel guide for you.

1⃣️ Transportation: On the Latam Airlines website, there are basically flights to Calama every hour. After landing, there are many bus companies at the airport counter where you can buy tickets directly to San Pedro.

2⃣️ Itinerary Recommendations (3 days recommended):

1. 🌛 Moon Valley (3-6 PM): The entire trip includes hiking in the desert, viewing salt mountains, and watching the sunset. The sunset is really beautiful! But make sure to bring plenty of water, wear a sun hat, and appropriate clothing.

2. ✨ Star Tour (9 PM – 12 AM): The stargazing tour is highly recommended! It’s truly breathtaking with the naked eye, and there are professional astronomers to explain related knowledge, making it very worthwhile.

3. 🦩 Ruta de Los Salar (8 AM): This route allows you to see many different salt flats and wetlands, as well as flamingos, vicuñas, and other wildlife. The scenery is very beautiful.
4. 🏠 Caracoles Street (Town): Although the town is small, it has many restaurants and bars, and you can buy almost anything. When you have no scheduled activities, you can visit the local gift shops.
5. ⛲️ Geyser del Tatio (4-5 AM): The geysers can only be seen in the morning, giving a misty and ethereal feeling.
6. 🏊 Laguna Cejar: You can float on the salt lake; it’s cold but worth trying.
3⃣️ Tour Groups: Over there, tours are based on attractions. The travel agency will give you a detailed list, and you pay according to the number of attractions. If you arrive by plane in the morning and want to participate in activities in the afternoon, it’s best to book at least one day in advance. There is a street in the town full of travel agencies where you can also go for inquiries.
5⃣️ Accommodation: Make sure your hotel is close to Caracoles Street! Because after each trip, the bus will drop everyone off in the town center.
6⃣️ Restaurant Recommendations:
Adobe: A popular local restaurant, also one of the must-eat places in Chile, with good taste and portion sizes.
La Picada Del Indio: A favorite among locals, affordable and delicious, though not located in the town center.
