As the early morning light bathed the landscape, we ventured out from our cozy hotel, meandering along the steep slopes that led to the seaside. The journey was as much about the scenic walk as it was about the destination, with each step offering a new perspective of the charming surroundings.
One of the most striking features of this enchanting place is the array of colorful wooden houses perched on stilts over the water. Many of these picturesque dwellings have been transformed into welcoming homestays, inviting visitors to experience the local way of life.
The San Francisco Cathedral, a bold and vividly colored landmark, stands proudly beside the Plaza de Armas. Stepping inside, the grandeur of the artistry will leave you in awe. Gazing upward, the intricate details and vibrant hues create a breathtaking spectacle that captures the essence of Chiloé’s cultural heritage.
A visit to the Yumbel market is a must for food lovers, where the salmon is not only incredibly fresh but also surprisingly affordable. It has become a daily delight, making every meal a memorable culinary experience 😄
