Despite the strong warnings from netizens about certain areas, I decided to book an Airbnb that’s just a three-minute walk from the La Moneda metro station. This station is right in the heart of the city, near the iconic Plaza de Armas •ᴗ•💧, which is surprisingly the very area many people try to avoid.
Yesterday was Sunday, and most places were closed, but the Plaza de Armas was still bustling with activity. Today, being Monday, the shops and restaurants are all open, and the streets are lively and vibrant. However, the Plaza de Armas itself is not as crowded as it was yesterday.
When using my phone, I am extremely cautious. Before taking it out, I always scan my surroundings to ensure it’s safe. After using it, I quickly put it back in my pocket, never leaving it in the side pockets of my pants.
