Where to Find the Best Budget-Friendly Activities in Santiago This Spring?

Chile, the world’s longest and narrowest country, boasts a capital that shares its name with many other cities: Santiago. This vibrant metropolis is not only home to the headquarters of LATAM Airlines, the largest in South America, but it also holds the title of the most expensive city on the continent.

During my visit, I managed to squeeze in a jiu-jitsu practice session, which coincidentally fell during an open mat. To my surprise, the session included stripe and belt promotion ceremonies, a rare and exciting sight. Just watching the intense Polish corridor drills made me wince in sympathy; I think I’ll be content staying a white belt, slyly observing from the sidelines.
