Discover the Hidden Gem: Explore Stunningly Beautiful, Lesser-Known Cities in Indonesia π²π¨
During the Spring Festival, I decided to venture off the beaten path and explore the lesser-known gem of Medan. Unlike the bustling tourist hubs of Bali and Jakarta, Medan offers a serene escape with its breathtaking natural landscapes and unique cultural experiences, making it an ideal destination for adventurers seeking something different. My trip spanned 6 days and 5 nights, and if you’re planning a similar adventure, I hope this guide will be a valuable resource!

π Full car rental + guide (6 days 5 nights): RM 1900
π The package includes: ferry tickets, entrance fees to major attractions, highway tolls, parking fees, mineral water, and the driver’s accommodation costs.
Navigating North Sumatra can be challenging due to limited public transportation, so renting a car is a breeze! Our local guide was incredibly enthusiastic, fluent in English, and a skilled driver, which was essential given the rough mountain roads.
