This breathtaking sinkhole was formed by the collapse of the earth’s surface, plunging to a depth of 90 meters. When sunlight ☀️ beams directly into the cave, it creates the mesmerizing Tyndall effect. From the side, this phenomenon appears as the “Light of Heaven,” offering a close-up view of a truly spectacular natural marvel.

The descent and ascent in the cave are managed through a thrilling manual rope system. Witness around 20 men working in unison to lower the ropes, with two people descending at a time. While it may feel a bit daunting at first, the experience quickly becomes exhilarating. You can even savor the stunning views while suspended in mid-air. 📘 Essential Tips:
1️⃣ Ticket Price:
Approximately 250 RMB (Rp500,000) per person, which includes rain boots and a hearty chicken leg meal 🍗.
2️⃣ Reservation:
Arrive by 8:45 AM to catch the “God’s Light” that appears between 10 AM and 12 PM. On cloudy days, this magical light might not be visible. The site accommodates only 80 people daily, so booking in advance is a must.

On our visit, there were around 100 people, making it quite busy.
3️⃣ Entry Time:
Descend as early as possible. After purchasing tickets, you’ll receive a number. We descended around 11:30 AM, and the light was almost gone, leaving us a bit disappointed 😫.

The interior of the cave is very dark, but staff members will guide you with lights.

Keep your phone on throughout for safety. Some areas are slippery, so watch your step carefully. The photo spot is damp, so if you bring any equipment, be cautious and protect it from water damage.
