Discover Ultimate Durian Freedom: Taste the Best Varieties Here๐๐๐
Before arriving in Bali, I had heard tales of indulging in durian to my heart’s content. However, upon landing, I found myself at a loss, unable to locate the fabled roadside durian stalls. The ones available in supermarkets were disappointingly overpriced. To add to my frustration, I stumbled upon numerous posts on Xiaohongshu claiming that the durians from these stalls were often neither sweet nor tasty.

[Blow a kiss R] I simply must share this hidden gem with all the durian enthusiasts near Denpasar! Itโs an absolute must-visit! Just search for “Depo bangunan denpasar” on Google Maps. While it’s primarily a hardware and decoration market, right across the street, you’ll find a fantastic durian stand that sets up shop every day at 2 PM.

No matter which one you choose, the durians here are incredibly sweet and creamy! They are always fresh, and if you happen to get a less-than-perfect one, you can exchange it on the spot. But weโve never had that issue; both the large and small ones are delicious. You can even call a motorbike to pack a few and take them home [Sneaky smile R] (just remember, most hotels wonโt allow you to bring them inside).

The larger durians in the picture cost around 20 RMB each, while the smaller ones are just 10 RMB. Given our proximity and our love for durian, we make it a point to visit every other day. It would be a shame not to, really ๐ซถ

But the delights don’t stop there! You can also savor mangosteen to your heart’s content. By the roadside, youโll find carts and baskets brimming with mangosteens, priced at an unbelievable 2 RMB per pound! Yes, you read that rightโjust 2 RMB per pound!!!
