Discover Why Singapore to Indonesia Trips Are More Fun Than Bali 🇸🇬➡️🇮🇩✈
I recently spent a fantastic long weekend in Yogyakarta, also known as Jogya, and I must say, it was an unforgettable experience! In my opinion, it even surpasses Bali, thanks to its fewer tourists and more affordable prices 🤑. The city is brimming with exciting activities and breathtaking scenery. Here’s a rundown of our 4-day, 3-night adventure:

✨Day 1:✨
We started off by having lunch at Ayom Jogya restaurant, which was a delightful culinary introduction to the local flavors. Unfortunately, the rest of the day was rained out, so we spent a cozy afternoon relaxing at our hotel 😭.

✨Day 2:✨
The next day was packed with adventure! We booked a Klook tour that took us on a thrilling jeep ride around Mount Merapi, followed by a visit to the majestic Borobudur Temple and the serene Pulepayung. For dinner, we tried Silol Kopi & Eatery. Although the food wasn’t exceptional, the live band and vibrant atmosphere made up for it.

✨Day 3:✨
On the third day, we embarked on another Klook tour, this time to Timang Beach, where we enjoyed the stunning coastal views, and then to the enchanting Pengger Pine Forest. The highlight of the day was the exhilarating cave tubing at Pindul Cave 🛟. Afterward, we indulged in some shopping at Pakuwon Mall Jogja.

For dinner, we headed to The House of Raminten, where the food was not only super affordable but also incredibly delicious and highly recommended! To cap off the evening, we explored Malioboro Street, where you can try the unique charcoal coffee.

✨Day 4:✨
Our final day was bittersweet as we prepared to head back home ✈️. Throughout our trip, we used Klook for all our activities and day tours, and I highly recommend checking them out. Don’t forget to look at photo 7; there’s a special surprise waiting for you!
