Essential Safety Tips Everyone Must Follow in Jakarta Today
It’s generally not advisable to linger in Jakarta for an extended period. During my recent visit, I spent just two days and one night in the city. On the first day, I witnessed a disturbing scene: a motorcycle thief snatched a bag from a young girl, pulling her to the ground. It was a truly heart-wrenching moment!

The following day, many shops were closed due to a Muslim holiday, leaving us with limited options. We ended up visiting a local church, but it felt like we had wasted a whole day. On the third day, before heading to the airport, I visited the bustling animal market. There, amidst a variety of creatures including cats, monkeys, and owls, a tiny monkey reached out from its cage and grabbed my hand.

The sensation was both unexpected and unforgettable. In closing, I must emphasize the importance of staying vigilant about your safety while in Jakarta!

I totally get why lingering in Jakarta might not be ideal. Those safety tips are definitely important, especially with things like theft being a concern. It must have been frustrating to have limited options during the holiday too.
