We set off from our hotel in Surabaya at 2 AM. The night was as dark as ink, and we were still groggy as the car navigated the unknown. Initially, my fellow travelers dozed, but as we drew closer to the volcano, the excitement began to build, bubbling up like a simmering pot 💥

Upon reaching the viewing platform, darkness still enveloped us, and the biting cold wind cut through the air, instantly jolting us awake. But the moment the first sliver of dawn pierced the sky, every shiver and sleepy blink was worth it! Beneath our feet, a surging sea of clouds stretched out, resembling a dreamy, white ocean.

In the distance, the volcanoes peeked through the cloud cover, like mystical peaks from a fantasy realm. As the sun gradually ascended, golden light bathed the Bromo volcano, illuminating the entire mountain. The smoke at the peak shimmered with a golden glow, creating a breathtakingly beautiful scene that left us in awe!
