[Check-in R] Here’s your chartered car route strategy – starting from Kuala Lumpur or Penang, a quick 45-minute flight will take you to Medan City (Kualanamu Airport). From there, it’s about a 3-hour scenic drive to the volcanic region.

Two Volcanoes
[One R] Sibayak, an accessible and climbable volcano with the driver as your guide.
[Two R] Sinabung, which erupted in 2020, is currently off-limits. You can still visit and admire its majestic presence from the foot of the mountain.

[Camping R] Spend the night in the charming town of Brastagi (Berastagi) or near the volcano for a truly immersive experience.

[Fisherman’s Hat R] Lake Toba: After exploring the volcanoes, head to Parapat Pier on the world’s largest volcanic lake, Lake Toba. Take a relaxing ferry ride to Samosir Island, also known as Shamoshisi Island, which is as large as Singapore [Laughing and Crying R].
On the island, you have the freedom to explore by riding in the driver’s car or renting a motorcycle

Visit the Batak Heritage Museum, savor the local Toba fish (volcano lake fish) , and enjoy the stunning views from Hulbung Mountain, Little Switzerland, and the world’s largest Jesus statue, along with various viewing platforms.

– Sinabung Volcano – Bukit Indah Simarjarunjung (if time permits, switch to the breathtaking Sipiso-piso Waterfall) – Lake Toba Parapat Pier depart to Samosir Island – Explore Batak Heritage – Bukit Betu Tuk tuk – Dolok Sipira
– Stay overnight on Samosir Island
Day 3
– Cattage Aek Tawar Sari – Bukit Sidihoni – Pemandian Air Panas Rianiate – Hulbung Mountain – Viewing Platform, Jesus Statue
– Stay overnight on Samosir Island

– Return to Medan City / Airport
