3⃣ Sonobudoyo Museum

📝 A museum in Yogyakarta not far from the two palaces. Admission 20k, workshops and theater performances 50k, with a folk drama performance: Wayang puppet and mask show at 20:00.

📝 The world’s largest Buddhist temple made of volcanic rock, a World Heritage site, and one of the four great wonders of the East ❗ It takes 2-3 hours to visit. Summit ticket (including ground) 455k, ground ticket 375k.

Limited summit tickets, need to book in advance, be mindful of sun protection.
5⃣ Prambanan
📍15KM east of the city
📝 A World Heritage site, the largest Hindu Shiva temple complex in Indonesia. It takes 1-2 hours to visit. Adult/child ticket 375k/225k.
6⃣ Ratu Boko
📍5KM from Prambanan
7⃣ Chicken Church
📍3KM from Borobudur, cute chicken shape suitable for taking photos.

8⃣ Mount Merapi
📝 Further away, you can see it from the viewing platform.

📝 Here you will see the Tyndall effect, experience manual rope descent, limited daily, 500K/person including guide, insurance, and lunch.

📝 Featured in the Korean variety show Running Man, regrettable if you don’t go, but may not be worth it 😂 Jeep into the village 350k/vehicle, gondola 200k/person or suspension bridge 150k/person, then have a lobster meal 650k which is quite expensive.

*Rafting and other activities, as well as the popular pine forest and Giant’s Hand, are all in the outlying areas.
