Today’s plan is:
1️⃣ Go to Nepal van java to see the volcano

🏍️ Since we can only see the volcano in the morning, we set off from the homestay at 7:30 AM. We rode for about an hour; the first half of the road was relatively flat, but there were many steep slopes on the way up the mountain, which really tested our riding skills! After arriving at 📍Nepal van java, we found a place to park.

The viewing platform is right next to an elementary school, and you just climb the stairs to get there, so it’s easy to find. On the way, there were clouds blocking the view, and I thought we might not be able to see anything, but as soon as we arrived, the clouds drifted away, hehe. The volcano was truly breathtaking!

Below it is Rainbow Village, which is super beautiful. At the foot of the mountain, there are terraced fields, with many locals working, and groups of schoolchildren being led out by their teachers. They greeted us when they saw us, and the lively atmosphere chased away my early-morning fatigue [WowR].

🏨 After seeing the volcano, we rode back to the city. We stayed at the same homestay as before. We left our luggage with the owner yesterday, so we didn’t have to carry big bags to such a far place [PartyR]. After returning to the hotel, I slept for the whole afternoon. In the evening, we went to Mario Polo Street for dinner and shopping. I got a phone screen protector at the mall for just 20k!

🏬 There is a market next to the street, where many people are selling second-hand goods. There are clothes, shoes, and electronics, mostly local people looking for bargains. If you’re interested, you can check it out.

🍽️ Food:
🥣 On the way back in the morning, we randomly found a noodle shop. The owner is an old lady. We ordered a bowl of meatball noodles and a bowl of beef noodles. The beef noodles were incredibly fragrant, and I drank all the soup [CryR]. There was also something like a crispy, free flatbread, which was very tasty.

With drinks, it came to 23k.
🍜 In the evening, we had ramen at the Mario Polo mall. The service was slow, and the ramen was tasteless and in small portions, not good ❌. The ramen and rice together cost 104k.
🥛 We passed by a milk shop that was very crowded and ordered a cup of milk for 8k. There were no tables, so we just put it on a chair by the roadside.

The owner gave us white sugar to add ourselves, and the sweet, milky flavor was strong [CuteR].
🍝 Still hungry after the ramen, we went back to the noodle shop from the day before and had another bowl of dry-tossed noodles! Dry-tossed noodles are still the best. We also ordered a meal with fried fish and tofu, which cost 40k.

The tofu was sour, and the fried fish was very fragrant, with tender fish meat.

Tomorrow, we will leave Yogyakarta for Malang! We plan to start from Malang and climb the Bromo volcano 🌋. I’m really looking forward to it 🤩.
