In-Depth Review: Discovering the Beauty of NARS Surabaya Eyeshadow Palette

Let’s seriously analyze 👉🏾 my favorite NARS eyeshadow palette, Surabaya.
I think I’ve shared a lot of NARS products in my notes. I used to feel that I didn’t really like NARS, but I can’t stop buying their stuff! (Trolls, get lost!!! [AngryR])
Among the very popular NARS dual-color eyeshadows are Kuala Lumpur (kuala lumpur), Cordura (love potion), and St-Paul-de-Vence.

I don’t deny that the above-mentioned palettes are classics, but do they take all the attention?! Isn’t anyone paying attention to Surabaya?!
👉🏾 Cordura (love potion) VS Surabaya
✨Cordura is so popular because it’s great for creating deep eye makeup and doesn’t look dirty easily. However, as a dual-color eyeshadow, one of the colors is quite black and very dark, so you must apply it lightly!

Although it gives a sense of depth, as an everyday look, it does appear quite heavy. I think it’s more suitable for those who are skilled at makeup! [SighR]
✨As for Surabaya, both colors are in the brown tone, with the right color being a reddish-brown! The colors are incredibly suitable for Asians, for daily use, but not as bland as Lunasol’s earthy tones!

Both colors have been carefully crafted on the basis of earthy browns! The colors are rich and unique! And using just the left color can create a sense of depth for the eyes! The reddish-brown on the right can make the overall color less monotonous and richer in transition. The difference in depth between these two colors is not significant, so they blend and diffuse well.

Although it may not be as three-dimensional as Cordura, it is definitely the most suitable choice for everyday use! [PartyR]
👉🏾 Nars Cordura VS Judydoll Dual-Color 06
I’ve had 06 for two months. I bought many colors from that series, and 06 was my favorite. At the time, I thought this color seemed like my true love, NARS?

When I took it out, it looked exactly the same!
So, let’s compare them [ThumbsUpR]
Look at the photo where I put them side by side, there’s really no difference! The swatches and the look on the eyes are also very similar.
👉🏾 If we have to point out differences 🧷
1. NARS has a higher color payoff, it’s very intense with just one swipe, while 06 needs multiple layers to achieve the same color intensity (but this actually makes it easier to control).

2. NARS has finer shimmer, while 06 has larger glitter particles (larger glitter looks more sparkly on the eyes).
3. NARS has a better luster than 06.
4. In terms of texture, NARS is smoother, while 06 is softer and more pliable.
