The taxi fare from Ubud to Canggu can be quite steep, but here’s a smart hack: Take the K4B bus from the center of Ubud to SMAN 7 Denpasar. It’s just an hour’s journey and costs only 4,400 IDR. From there, grab a taxi to Canggu for about 70,000 IDR. This route saves you around 60,000 IDR compared to a direct taxi from Ubud, with just an extra half-hour travel time.
