Day 1
9:30 AM Arrived at the basecamp and met the mountain guides
We already felt cold here

10:00 AM Set off! We were taken to CP1 by Ojek (off-road motorcycle)
This was probably the most thrilling part of the whole journey, ascending 400 meters in altitude in about 5 minutes, all on a rocky road, with the driver going full speed, it was heart-stopping
We sat in front of the driver ➡️ Image 3

11:40 AM Arrived at CP2 for lunch, local food, quite tasty
The first warung and toilet on the way up are here
Toilet ➡️ Image 4, still within an acceptable range

2:30 PM Arrived at CP3, passed the second warung on the way up, bought a few slices of watermelon and a cup of hot coffee, a bit of luxury [Proud R]

3:00 PM Arrived at the campsite, elevation around 2700m
When we arrived, the mountain guides had already set up our tents
The last warung is also here
Lying in the tent, looking out, there’s a sea of clouds, how pleasant ➡️ Image 7
The second toilet is also here, and it’s the one I least wanted to use ➡️ Image 8 [Wall-hugging R]

Such a beautiful view with dinner, what more could one ask for in life [Frowning R] ➡️ Image 9

6:30 PM We prepared to sleep because we had to get up at 3 AM the next day to prepare for the summit
Woken up by the need to urinate at night, I stepped out of the tent and unexpectedly saw a breathtaking night view ➡️ Image 11, 12 [Frowning R]
I didn’t sleep well that night, kept waking up from the cold [Face-covering R]
4:30 AM The next day, put on headlamps and started the ascent in the dark
The final part of the summit path is all loose gravel, large rocks, or dry grass, you have to walk very carefully, especially on the way down, using hands and feet throughout – it’s recommended to bring work gloves
I don’t know how many times I slipped, it was really scary, but thankfully I survived, thank goodness [Fireworks R]
7:30 AM Successfully reached the summit!
Our pace to the summit was slower, so we stopped at Puncak Kekawah
If time permits, you can reach the highest peak, which takes about an hour more
After taking photos and eating some bread, we prepared to descend
11:00 AM Descended to the campsite, had lunch, and continued descending without stopping
1:00 PM Arrived at the basecamp, end!
Summary: It’s great to be back safely [Party R]
Thank you to my teammates, thank you to the mountain guides, thank you to nature, thank you to myself [Red Heart R]
