✨️Day 2 Borobudur and Prambanan are two major World Heritage sites, with Borobudur being a Buddhist temple and Prambanan a Hindu temple. Borobudur is grand and majestic, with a touch of mystery. Climbing the temple, stepping on ancient steps (requires some physical effort), and admiring the reliefs on the stone walls.

✨️The guide driver instructed that tickets for the 8:30 entry must be purchased online exactly at midnight 7 days before the visit (1 AM Malaysian time). The 8:30 tickets sell out within 10 minutes. So, it is essential to buy them on time online.
✨️The entrance ticket for Prambanan does not include a guided tour, so there wasn’t as much feeling for it.

Prambanan is more like a large park, with a deer enclosure, archery, and cafes near the temples.
✨️When traveling in Yogyakarta, it’s best to hire a guide driver. I found this driver-guide @Beautiful Jogjakarta – Mr. Hengki on TripAdvisor. He is polite, fluent in English, punctual, has a clean and tidy car, drives safely, and charges a fair price.

Highly recommended!
✨️At Timang Beach, you can see the beautiful Indian Ocean. You can choose to cross to the small island via a suspension bridge or take a manually operated gondola across the Indian Ocean. The sunset view is very beautiful!
✨️For the Merapi Jeep Tour, we took the one-hour trip, which included the museum, Alien Stone, and Jeep Bashing.

It was a crazy, thrilling, and fun ride.
✨️The Pindul Cave tubing experience was excellent, and the staff service was also very good.
✨️If we hadn’t explored, we wouldn’t have known that Indonesia 🇲🇨 has such beautiful and fun places. Although the local food is not as distinctive as in Thailand and Vietnam, it is very cheap and tastes good.

The locals are also very simple and friendly. Arranging one day for a Heritage Tour and another for an Adventure Tour is perfect!
