High-Energy Preview: Plan Your Kenya Peak Season Trip Now Before Rooms Vanish!
Yes! You didn’t read it wrong! The peak season in Kenya is indeed this popular! Everyone knows that July to October is the season for the great migration in Kenya. The spectacular river crossing makes it extremely difficult to find accommodation (especially within the parks or in more comfortable surroundings) during this period.

If you plan to go to Kenya to see the animals in the summer,
‼️remember! Kenya is different from our country!
It’s not enough to plan just a month in advance, even during the off-season, you need at least a month to prepare for Kenya. Various documents, vaccines, and other preparations all take time. For the peak season, the earlier the better (six months is best, three months still has a chance).

📝Regarding independent travel
❌My experience is NO! Mainly considering two issues:
✅Safety! Safari in the wild savannah, currently does not allow private entry, must be accompanied by a local driver throughout.
✅Experience! Our living environment in our country is different from the local one, we do not have the experience of tracking animals.

🐴About the river crossing
From July to October, the wildebeest migrate north from Serengeti, arriving in Maasai Mara around July-August. At this time, the crossings of the Mara River and Talek River reach their peak, which is also the best viewing position.

👀Why must you see the river crossing?
【River Crossing: A Survival Rule of Nature】
The lead wildebeest lets out a roar, and tens of thousands of wildebeest rush into the water, dust flying. At this moment, the lurking crocodiles are waiting for the opportunity to bite the necks of the wildebeest. In the next second, the river turns crimson, the herd anxiously crosses the river, and vultures circle endlessly in the sky.

There is no constant warmth as in cartoons, only the cruelty of the survival rule.

If you also want to experience the awe of the river crossing, make sure to recognize the timing and plan ahead.
