I chose a misty weekday for my visit, when light rain painted the landscape in silver hues and thick fog draped the path like a ghostly veil. Complete solitude surrounded me as I wandered through [Kitayama Sugi no Namikimichi], where the atmosphere gradually transformed into something magically eerie. Towering ancient trees formed a natural cathedral, their branches creating a living tunnel that beckoned me deeper into nature’s embrace.

While my late arrival limited my exploration (P11), I’d recommend coming earlier to fully experience this wonderland. Follow the babbling stream as far as your curiosity takes you, letting the forest’s serene whispers wash over you.
