.. This is Malacca, where the legendary Zheng He embarked on five of his seven voyages to the Western Seas, and it’s also the Malacca Strait we learned about in our middle school geography textbooks📖.

I never imagined I would one day stand here, but as the warm tropical breeze of Southeast Asia caressed my face and I stood by the river, listening to the gentle murmur of the Malacca River, this moment magically merged with the words from my textbook. It was a privilege to experience and see the world in such a profound way🇲🇾.

Malacca was just one day of our seven-day Malaysian adventure,

To avoid the crowds, we started our morning by exploring Jonker Street, the Dutch Red House, Mural Street, Stadthuys, St. Paul’s Church, and the Straits Mosque. In the afternoon, we drove directly to the Putra Mosque, arriving just in time to catch the breathtaking sunset🌇.

The golden hues of the setting sun reflecting off the pink mosque were simply mesmerizing.
