Malacca
This historic city, often mentioned in geography and history books, has now come to life for me. Just a two-hour drive from Kuala Lumpur, Malacca offers a treasure trove of attractions. The water spinach was a bit past its prime, and the fried squid was overly doughy. Surprisingly, the star of the meal was the fried mantou dipped in salted egg yolk sauce; it was absolutely divine.

I also treated myself to a foot massage [sneaky laugh] for 50RM/60min, and it was incredibly invigorating.
