Discovering the Strait of Malacca: A Journey to My Geography Textbook Landmark
The Strait of Malacca, a name etched in geography textbooks, is familiar to many Chinese, yet it remains a less-traveled gem for tourists.

Much like Penang, this entire city is a UNESCO World Heritage site. Seizing the opportunity during the Tibetan New Year holiday, I embarked on a journey across the sea from Lhasa, transforming my long-held dreams into tangible experiences.

During my three-night stay in Malacca, I strolled down the vibrant Jonker Street, savored the rich flavors of Peranakan cuisine, was captivated by the mesmerizing musical drama Encore Melaka, and witnessed breathtaking sunsets over the ocean.

This enchanting destination is far more than just a day trip. The streets are a tapestry of historical landmarks and charming coffee shops. If you have a penchant for immersing yourself in the rich tapestry of human culture and history, Malacca will undoubtedly steal your heart.
