Essential Guide: How to Declare Items When Entering Malaysia Smoothly

Don’t risk being turned away at customs or getting into a panic by not filling out the entry card. Follow the advice and fill it out in advance for a seamless entry!

– Passport: Ensure it is valid for more than 6 months and in good condition.
– MDAC Entry Card: Fill this out at least 3 days before your trip.
– Itinerary & Return Ticket: An electronic version is acceptable.

1⃣ Step 1: Click on “REGISTER” to start the process.
2⃣ Step 2: Enter your personal details carefully, double-check everything, and submit once you’re sure there are no mistakes.
3⃣ Step 3: Head to your email (the one you provided in step 2) and look for an email from “mdac” containing a PIN code.

4⃣ Step 4: Go back to the filing website, click “CHECK REGISTRATION,” and follow the prompts to enter the query information and the PIN code from the email. Submit when done.
5⃣ Step 5: After submitting, the page will refresh to display your travel information. Click the PDF icon at the end of the information bar to download and save the MDAC confirmation letter.

Make sure to print a paper copy of the MDAC confirmation letter.
