Kuala Lumpur 3 Days 2 Nights Itinerary | First Time Abroad Travel Guide Rush
I jetted off to Malaysia 🇲🇾 for a 7-day adventure in June! Today, I’m sharing my first stop – 3 days and 2 nights in the vibrant city of Kuala Lumpur: where to eat and what to do! Let’s dive in~

[Plane R] Luggage
Of course, your passport and flight tickets are a must. After booking your flight, you’ll need to send an email to the Malaysian authorities, fill out the entry information, and you’ll receive a code. Make sure to print this page as it will be essential for your stay in Malaysia.
📱 For a more budget-friendly option, get a one-day domestic roaming card before you leave, and then buy a one-week card upon arrival.

The reason? The domestic roaming card won’t work with Google Maps.
Pack a power adapter 🔌, stomach medicine 💊, sunscreen 🧴, mosquito repellent (Six God), an umbrella ☔️, and comfortable shoes👟.

Thanks to Six God, even after a full day at the botanical garden in scorching 30-degree weather, I didn’t get a single mosquito bite, hehe 😁

[Instant Camera R] Check-in
Kuala Lumpur is a food lover’s paradise, but the attractions are a bit limited. Don’t miss Ghost Alley, Bukit Bintang (like Shanghai’s Nanjing Road, complete with a McDonald’s Avenue), the iconic Petronas Twin Towers (best visited at night), the Bird Park (perfect for families with kids), and the Pink Mosque (a bit of a trek, so plan it for when you’re heading out).

[Pig Head R] Food
The culinary delights are endless! Try He Jiu Tea House in Ghost Alley, Ah Rong in the breakfast market (there are plenty of stalls, all worth a taste), and in Bukit Bintang, D·MASING durian chendol is a must-try, along with Tutti Frutti. And don’t forget Xin Feng Bak Kut Teh for a hearty meal.

[Shopping Cart R] Gifts
Highly recommend white coffee and Milo, which come in large packs with small sachets, perfect for gifting. A1 Bak Kut Teh packets are also a great choice, and coconut sugar, which is sweet but not overpowering, is a delightful treat. I’m not a fan of durian, so the durian candies I bought were all for giving away. You can also pick up some instant noodles; the white packet has a nice kick of spice.

[Good Night R] Accommodation
Staying in the city center is ideal, as it puts you close to all the delicious food and fun activities, and the room rates are surprisingly reasonable. Just a heads-up, the hotel air conditioning can be quite strong, so take care not to catch a chill 🤒 hahaha 😂

It’s been a month since I returned, and I still can’t stop thinking about the coconut toast and white coffee in Kuala Lumpur. Apart from the toast at Ya Kun in the airport, every other toast I had was absolutely divine. See you next year, Kuala Lumpur [Sun R][Two Hearts R]
This time, I brought back a ton of souvenirs, but I still feel like I could have gotten more 🤔
My belly was full, yet there were still so many dishes I didn’t get to try, hahaha.
