I’ve had the pleasure of visiting Penang three times, and on previous trips, I always found myself exploring the vibrant streets of George Town. This time, I ventured to the northern part, Batu Ferringhi, and it was an incredibly relaxing experience!
Now I finally understand why my friends from Kuala Lumpur rave about Penang so much!

⏰ At 6:30 pm, I strolled into BoraBora and, to my surprise, managed to snag a prime seat right at the front—talk about luck!
The sunset began around 7:15 and lasted for almost an hour, painting the sea a stunning shade of orange 🍊, casting a warm evening glow, and setting the stage for a lively bonfire party.

To sum it up in one sentence: “While the sea in Penang may be just average, the atmosphere is absolutely enchanting.”
