You simply must visit Tunnel Beach; the scenery is absolutely breathtaking. When the sun is shining, every photo you take will be a masterpiece! There’s a part with a steep slope that can be challenging to navigate, but pushing through is more than worth it—the view at the end is so stunning that missing it would be a true regret!

Dunedin exudes a strong sense of daily life, and I believe its true essence lies in the coastal areas. The city center tends to attract more tourists, but if I had the chance in the future, I would definitely stay by the seaside. 🌈 The city offers charming walks, the bustling Octagon Square, and the iconic train station, all of which are worth exploring.

During my one-week stay, I indulged in some delicious Chinese food, which truly satisfied my craving for authentic flavors. 🌈 The seaside also offers a relaxing vacation vibe, with a long, picturesque coastline. Driving along the coast, the views are simply mesmerizing, and the sea breeze is incredibly soothing and stress-relieving. On the way to Tunnel Beach, I stumbled upon a popular seaside café called Long Dog, where the avocado toast and coffee were delightful.

I made a last-minute change to my itinerary and decided to spend an extra day in Queenstown. EBB was fully booked, so I only managed to secure one night there. After some searching, I finally settled on one night at the Victoria Hotel as a stopover. Initially, I didn’t have high expectations because the online pictures looked rather unappealing [laughing and crying emoji].

To my surprise, the place turned out to be very comfortable, with small balconies in both the living room and bedroom, making it perfect for families with elderly members or children. Plus, the price was quite reasonable. I highly recommend it!
