Discover Dunedin: A Must-Visit Hidden Gem in New Zealand 🇳🇿
p1-p7 Strolling around Dunedin Railway Station, you’ll find that all the main attractions are just a short walk away. The stunning architecture is truly a sight to behold, earning it the well-deserved title of “Edinburgh of the Southern Hemisphere” [WowR].

p8-p12 Sandfly Bay is undeniably beautiful, but be prepared for a challenging descent! It was easily the most difficult part of our New Zealand adventure! Most of the path is on sand, and when you’re climbing back up, it feels like you slide back half a step for every one you take forward [FrustratedR]. We had initially planned to visit Tunnel Beach, but it was temporarily closed, which was a real letdown [CryingR].

p13-p16 On your way from Dunedin to Oamaru, make sure to stop by Katiki Point Lighthouse. You’ll be greeted by seals and sea lions frolicking everywhere, and they look absolutely adorable as they scamper about! Plus, it’s conveniently close to The Fishwife, so you can explore that too. Just remember to dress warmly; on the day we visited, a light rain combined with the sea breeze left the kids shivering.

Overall, this trip is an absolute must-do!
