Seeking some advice with a chuckle, is it feasible to just hire a driver for traveling in the South Island of New Zealand? 😂
Since I’ve never driven a right-hand drive car, and safety is my top priority, I decided to abandon that idea.
I’m also not keen on joining a tour group, as I prefer more flexibility and personalization.

The prices and itineraries of various driver-guide services on XHS just don’t seem to fit my needs and budget.
So, I’m planning to create my own itinerary and handle all the other details. Is it possible to just hire a driver for this adventure?
