✨Crispy Eatery in Remuera is said to be very delicious. This time, I tried the new dishes, and they truly lived up to their reputation 💕. Every dish felt like it was dancing on my taste buds 💃, completely subverting my understanding of cafes.

🦀 KING CRAB PASTA | $39.9
There’s quite a lot of crab meat, which seems to be from the crab legs. The pasta’s creamy sauce isn’t too heavy, paired with juicy caviar and Parmesan cheese, so it retains the freshness of the seafood.

PISTACHIO CHERRY CHOCOLATE FRENCH TOAST | $25.9
It’s said to be the same French toast as in Dubai, a must-try for sweet lovers! The toast is paired with smooth chocolate ice cream, pistachio sauce, and Oreo crumbs. It’s rich but not overly sweet. There’s also cherry jam in the middle of the toast to add a touch of sourness and sweetness.

Extra pistachio sauce is served on the side. The owner says it’s meant to mimic the richness of natural pistachios, and I really love it. Every bite is full of happiness 💕.

🐚 SCALLOP ON POTATO SLAB | $33.9
The scallops and truffle potato cake are incredibly addictive. The scallops are fragrantly pan-fried, tender inside. The potato cake has many layers with a bit of truffle sauce and mayonnaise in between. The umami flavor is doubled, and the overall texture is both crispy and smooth. I wanted to order another one after finishing!

🇷🇺 Honey Cake
I ordered both the original and chocolate flavors. The classic honey cake has countless layers, with a strong honey aroma. Even someone like me, who is just okay with honey, really enjoyed it. But if you don’t like sweets, you might want to skip this. The chocolate version is also good, with cocoa and honey blending well, creating a dense and moist texture that pairs well with coffee. However, the cocoa does mask some of the honey flavor. As a chocolate lover, I really enjoyed it.

🍵 Matcha Passion Fruit
The sour-sweet passion fruit and matcha go perfectly together. It’s very refreshing to have a cup in the morning.
