Some say that God first created New Zealand, and then fashioned heaven in its likeness. The days spent in New Zealand felt like an endless, enchanting dream. If it weren’t for the need to return to school, I would have wished with all my heart to stay there for half a year, wuwu.
Unlike the bustling and popular destinations like France, Italy, and Switzerland, New Zealand is a serene haven with a sparse population. The scenery here is breathtakingly pure, making you feel as if your soul has been cleansed. I absolutely fell in love with Mount Cook! The milky lake waters paired with the distant snow-capped mountains create a natural masterpiece that seems almost too perfect to be real.
For this trip, I chose a small, intimate tour group that allowed ample free time to immerse myself in the local life and connect with nature. Spending lazy afternoons by the lake, basking in the sun, and evenings on the mountain top, gazing at the tranquil town, snow-capped peaks, and shimmering lakes, was truly a balm for the weary soul.

[RainbowR] Group Tour Experience
We were incredibly fortunate on our group tour; we traveled in a luxurious 20-seater business van, which was so comfortable that we could even stretch out and nap, hahaha. Our guide was exceptionally kind and helpful, offering tips on how to get the best deals when shopping for souvenirs.
The only thing I didn’t quite adjust to was the hotel breakfast, which typically consisted of croissants, fruit, and milk or coffee. After several days, I found myself deeply missing the fried dough, buns, and soy milk from home, wuwu.

Even after returning from New Zealand, I still find it hard to fully come back to reality. The laid-back lifestyle of New Zealanders is truly inspiring. Only after visiting New Zealand did I realize that life can be so wonderfully relaxed, where you can savor breathtakingly beautiful moments without any guilt, doing those simple, delightful things that bring joy.
In the future, whenever I travel abroad, I will definitely return to New Zealand, ahhhhh!!! I wholeheartedly recommend New Zealand to everyone, wuwu. You must visit at least once in your lifetime!!!
