On a beautiful day, every corner of Queenstown shines, but my top pick remains Deer Park. I was utterly captivated the first time I visited in autumn three years ago. In recent years, it has become the most sought-after destination in Queenstown. Trust me, it’s an experience you won’t want to miss!

The star attraction here is undoubtedly the close interaction with a variety of wild animals. For just $2, you can purchase a bucket of feed and enjoy the delightful experience of feeding and interacting with them. Just be cautious of the mischievous goats; make sure to park your car safely before you start feeding, or they might leave some unwanted marks on it.

Beyond the animals, the natural scenery is breathtaking. From the mountain’s peak, you can take in a 360-degree panoramic view of Queenstown. The azure lakes and snow-capped mountains stretch out like a living masterpiece before your eyes.

This time, due to our rush to catch a flight, we had to retrace our steps down the mountain and missed out on the path with more animals. I’m already looking forward to making up for this next time.
