Explore New Zealand’s Natural Wonders: Breathe Fresh Oxygen in Open-Air Adventures 🌳🦌🌈

The early summer in the Southern Hemisphere is a breathtaking spectacle.
It was only after arriving in New Zealand that I discovered life could be so wonderfully relaxed.
Here, the harmony between humans and nature is beautifully embodied.

🚗I just got back from an incredible self-driving adventure in New Zealand.
Our journey lasted 18 days,
with 12 of those days spent in the charming towns of Tekapo, Wanaka, and Queenstown.
We embraced the local slow-paced lifestyle,
soaking up the sun by the lake, making friends with farm animals,
and watching the stunning pink sunset over snow-capped mountains…
Over these two weeks, I’ve gathered some delightful and picturesque spots to share with you all.

🦌【Deer Park in Queenstown】
Meet the majestic deer king right here! 🦌👑
How to find the deer👇
✅First, book your tickets online at least three days in advance. On the day of your visit, enter the gate password to gain entry. The park limits entry to 80 cars per day.
✅Perched at a high elevation, the farm offers a breathtaking panoramic view of Queenstown.

We visited in early summer when the sun set after 9:00 PM each day.
🦌🫎🦌Key tips for finding the deer!!
✅Timing is everything! Early morning and late evening are the best times, as the animals come out to feed twice a day, increasing your chances of spotting them.
✅Once inside the farm, follow the main road.

There’s a machine selling animal feed for $2 a bucket; make sure to have $2 coins ready!
✅Continue along the main road until you reach a fork. Take the right path, which leads downhill. The deer king and his family are down there! You can drive around to find them. When the deer appeared before my eyes, my heart melted with tenderness 🫠
✅On this path, you might also encounter some friendly cows and donkeys.

They are quite curious, so it’s easy to meet them.

🌳【Wanaka Hiking】
✅For a serene lakeside walk, park your car at the Red Car Park, which is very close to the lake. The famous lone tree is also located here!
✅I highly recommend a lesser-known hiking route:
Navigation: A Outlet Track
This trail winds through the forest and along the lake, often used by locals walking their dogs and enjoying fresh air. You can drive directly to the trailhead parking lot ✌️

🪼【Lake Tekapo】
✅Snow-capped mountains🏔️, seagulls🕊️, and a lonely bench🌳
To capture beautiful photos with the seagulls, bring some bread and small cookies. Trust me, you’ll get some fantastic shots ✌️
