Today marked our third session, diving into the beginner class led by a native English-speaking teacher. To be frank, you need a solid foundation of at least 300 English words to grasp about 60-70% of the content. While it’s undeniably challenging, it does immerse you in an authentic English-speaking environment.

Stepping out of the class, I was struck by the realization that Chinese is truly a minority language on the global stage. The vast majority of countries around the world use English as a primary or secondary language, making the classroom a unique space where almost everyone is a Chinese speaker.
