🌤️ This small house has a full wall of clear floor-to-ceiling windows, with the famous Lake Pukaki right outside. It’s also one of New Zealand’s most beautiful glacial lakes, known as the “Blue Milk Lake”🥛. The lake contains a large amount of suspended minerals, which emit a lovely milky blue glow under the sunlight, making it look like milk has been poured into the deep blue water, creating a magical and beautiful scene.
🌤️ This place is very close to Queenstown and the snow-capped peaks of Mount Cook. Standing by the lake, you can see the majestic Southern Alps in the distance🏔️, offering an excellent view.

1️⃣ Next to the shop, there is a small house with floor-to-ceiling windows that offer a view of the blue lake and snowy mountains, a popular spot for taking photos on Instagram. Make sure to raise your camera to capture the lake!
2️⃣ There are tables and chairs by the lake outside the shop where you can enjoy the scenery while eating salmon.
3️⃣ The salmon farm is nearby, about a 10-minute drive away, and they offer fishing services there.
4️⃣ The shop provides a few small packets of sauce, and if you need more, you will have to buy them.
5️⃣ The entire town has no public transportation except for the shuttle buses between cities❌. If you’re driving, it’s about a 15-minute drive from the town.
If you don’t have a car, it’s about an hour’s walk because there are no car rental points in the town❌.
