[Rainbow] Reliving my study abroad memories through these precious snapshots.
How wonderful that these vibrant photos still live on in my phone gallery—each frame captures a perfect moment. That day’s crystal-clear atmosphere created exceptionally sharp images, far removed from the dated promotional style we often see online. The remarkable visibility even revealed new perspectives of the Juche Tower that few get to witness [Thumbs up][Thumbs up][Thumbs up].

Our guide surprised us with special access inside the Juche Tower—something I never expected from its slender silhouette. Before ascending, we marveled at the commemorative bricks in Figure 3, gifted by over 80 nations (if memory serves), each telling its own diplomatic story. The elevator whisked us up approximately 100 meters (the tower stands 150m tall, crowned by a 20m torch), rewarding us with breathtaking panoramic views of Pyongyang.

The only disappointment? Strict no-photography rules at the summit.

Dominating the tower’s foreground stands an impressive bronze trio—worker, farmer, and intellectual. Their raised hammer, sickle, and writing brush form a powerful symbol of Korea’s unity under Juche philosophy, representing the collective drive toward national progress.

The majestic Taedong River flows gracefully beside the Juche Tower, one of North Korea’s five great waterways. This vital artery courses through Pyongyang’s heart before completing its southward journey, finally merging with Korea Bay at Nampo City—a natural complement to the tower’s man-made grandeur.
