– **Day 1:** Tarangire National Park – Towering baobabs and herds of elephants greeted us.
– **Day 2:** Serengeti National Park (Central) – A vast wilderness where days feel too short to explore its full majesty.
– **Day 3:** Serengeti North – The dramatic river crossing point for the Great Migration.

Staying overnight here is non-negotiable for the best views!
– **Day 4:** Serengeti North + Central – Made sure the tour focused on the Great Migration (other sightings were a bonus). Sadly, the elusive leopard remained hidden this time 🥲

– **Nairobi → Mombasa:** Scenic train ride – 6 hours (tickets available at the station unless you have local payment access).

– **Mombasa → Dar es Salaam:** Bus (*Tahmeed Coach*) – 12 hours (book early at their Mombasa office—locals love this route!).
– **Dar es Salaam → Zanzibar:** Speedy ferry (*Azam Marine*) – 80 mins (online booking recommended, but don’t forget to print your ticket!).
