🇲🇾 One-week trip to Peninsular Malaysia: Kuala Lumpur – Penang – Langkawi route get!
This time, I flew from Chengdu to Malaysia. If you are interested in the Nanyang Peranakan culture and also like the scenery of Langkawi, you can try the Kuala Lumpur – Penang – Langkawi route, which allows you to visit three places at once.

1️⃣✈️ First, the flight tickets 💰:
💙a. Round-trip ticket from Chengdu to Kuala Lumpur: less than 3000;
💙b. Kuala Lumpur – Penang: 150; Flight time: 1h
💙c. Penang – Langkawi: 150; Flight time: 40min
💙d. Langkawi – Kuala Lumpur: 260; Flight time: 1h (Domestic flights in Malaysia are very cheap, and the flight times are short.

If you are not pursuing ultimate leisure and don’t mind the hassle, flying with friends is quite fun, with many experiences)
2️⃣🏨 Hotels:
💛a. In Kuala Lumpur, I stayed at Sleeping Lion Suites and Capri by fraser bukit bintang (I recommend the second one, which opened in 2021, located in the city center, with a high cost-performance ratio, and the hotel staff service is excellent.

I left the hotel at midnight, and there were still staff at the door to help with luggage, etc. Overall, the experience was great. The prices of the two hotels are similar, both close to Pavilion Square, very convenient). There is a good Bak Kut Teh restaurant in the adjacent block, as shown in the picture.

💛b. In Penang, I also stayed at two hotels. The first one is Mercure Hotel, chosen by many people (pictures 3-5), with a beach restaurant downstairs for taking photos, etc. The second one is Angsana Teluk Bahang, highly recommended! (Pictures 6-8) It’s a bit more expensive, but the restaurant environment, service quality, and beach are all better.

I will stay here again next time, hahaha!
💛c. In Langkawi, I stayed at the same hotel for two consecutive days, Camar Resort Langkawi (pictures 9-18). I just stayed in a pool room and a beach room for one day each, with almost the same price. Before going, I saw mixed reviews, but I still chose to go based on my own experience, hahaha~😆 The hotel has a swimming pool.

For those who like pool rooms, it is recommended to confirm with the hotel via email before check-in to stay on the first floor because the first-floor rooms have direct access to the pool, and you can swim right from the balcony. Staying in a beach room on the first floor is also a great experience, with a larger balcony, closer to the restaurant.

Unfortunately, I didn’t get to stay at the Eastern & Oriental Hotel in Penang this time, 5555, it was fully booked. I will go again next time!
