This picturesque village holds a poignant history. During the Korean War, it served as a refugee camp, as Busan remained the sole unoccupied city in South Korea. For decades after the war, Gamcheon-dong struggled as an impoverished slum until a remarkable transformation began. Through a collaborative effort between the government, creative artists, and determined locals, the area blossomed into the cultural gem we see today.

7️⃣-9️⃣: These adorable miniature house magnets are the hottest keepsake in town! Find them near the bus stop – just head toward the pedestrian bridge and look for the yellow sign. Heartbreak moment: The shop was unexpectedly closed during our visit [sad face]. These cuties will have to wait for our next trip [tears]!
