The Valparaíso region is just a short, scenic drive of an hour and forty minutes from the bustling capital, Santiago. Today, we ventured to a truly unique local restaurant called Tres Pescado. Despite a half-hour wait in line, the experience was well worth it, as every dish was a delightful showcase of authentic Chilean cuisine.

2️⃣ **Degustación de la caleta**: This seafood platter was a feast for the senses, featuring succulent octopus, tender clams, and delicate slices of raw fish. The combination was incredibly refreshing and perfect for a seaside meal.

3️⃣ **Empanada de camarón nacional con queso**: A quintessential Chilean snack, this empanada was filled with juicy shrimp and melted cheese. While it was quite good, it didn’t stray far from the traditional flavors, making it a reliable and satisfying choice.

4️⃣ **Calugas de Pescado**: We ordered a plate of fried fish, and it was so mouthwateringly delicious that we couldn’t resist ordering another. The fish was perfectly cooked, moist and flavorful, and the accompanying sauce was the perfect complement. It received a unanimous thumbs up from everyone at the table!

5️⃣ **Sopaipillas con pebre**: These soft, fluffy corn cakes are a beloved local snack. Served with a zesty pebre sauce, they were utterly addictive, and we found ourselves reaching for more.

6️⃣ **Churrasco Marino**: This local specialty is a must-try! A whole small fried fish nestled inside a hearty Chilean bread, served with a homemade sauce. The flavor was out of this world, though you might need to stretch your jaw a bit to take a bite. Hahaha, we highly recommend it—five stars all the way!

7️⃣ **Machas a la Parmesana**: Topped with a rich layer of parmesan cheese, this dish was bursting with flavor. However, it can be a bit heavy, so it’s best enjoyed in moderation. Definitely give it a try if you’re a cheese lover.

The service at Tres Pescado was impeccable, with dishes arriving promptly and the staff being attentive and friendly. The portions were modest, which allowed us to sample a variety of dishes, making it ideal for a group outing.

Трес Пескадо заслуживает посещения! Полуторачасовая очередь — это своего рода考验, но еда того стоит. Особенно впечатлила морская тарелка, всё было свежим и вкусным. Теперь понимаю, почему местные рекомендуют это место.
