Days 5 Nights Kyushu Fukuoka Itinerary: Ultimate Travel Guide & Must-See Attractions
Why didn’t anyone tell me that Fukuoka hits so hard after visiting…
This place has it all—history, culture, shopping, and local food—while being way more relaxed than Tokyo or Osaka.
I also noticed most tourists here are Korean or Chinese, but hardly any Malaysians lol 🇲🇾😂

Sharing my itinerary for Fukuoka’s city center and nearby towns.
A bit sad I missed out on Itoshima, Aso, Kumamoto, and Tenjin.
If you have enough time, I’d recommend road-tripping around all of Kyushu!
I’ve also shared a budget breakdown before—check my profile if you’re interested 💰

Kyushu seems like such a hidden gem! I loved how Fukuoka balances modernity with tradition, and the food scene sounds incredible. Next time I visit Japan, I’ll definitely rent a car to explore those surrounding areas you mentioned—it must be stunning.
