Two Friends Share Their 13K Group Tour Experience in New Zealand: A Must-Read Travel Story
It's been a while since I returned from New Zealand, and the memories are still vivid. My boyfriend and I joined a small group tour for four people, costing 13,000 RMB per person. I'm eager to share my personal experience, hoping it will be a valuable guide for those planning a trip to this enchanting country.

Why choose a group tour? Both of us have a terrible sense of direction, and we tend to get even more disoriented when abroad. Navigating unfamiliar places can be daunting, especially when we're not very tech-savvy with navigation tools. The thought of getting lost on our own was a real concern.

As first-time visitors to New Zealand, the sheer number of "must-see" attractions and the complexity of planning an itinerary felt overwhelming. We didn't know how to structure our trip in the most efficient way. Additionally, we had heard about some safety concerns in certain areas, and joining a tour gave us a greater sense of security and peace of mind.

👩❤️👨 Group Tour Experience: We opted for a semi-independent tour in New Zealand, which offered the best of both worlds: the convenience of guided tours and the flexibility of free time. Our mode of transport was a cozy seven-seater minivan, and with only four of us in the group, the ride was incredibly comfortable and spacious.

The accommodations were a delightful surprise. While not five-star, they were clean, charming, and conveniently located. One of the highlights was our stay near Queenstown, where we could simply open our window to enjoy breathtaking views of the lake and a star-studded sky. It was a truly magical experience!

The itinerary was well-balanced, ensuring we had plenty of rest and relaxation. Our guide was a treasure trove of humor and knowledge, regaling us with fascinating stories about New Zealand and even teaching us a few Maori phrases, which added a unique cultural touch to our journey.

‼️PS: I must say, I fell head over heels for Queenstown. This charming town seamlessly blends the vibrancy of a big city with the tranquility of a small town. Strolling through its streets, you can feel the laid-back and carefree atmosphere, which is utterly captivating. No wonder our guide mentioned that Queenstown is one of the most populous and beloved places in New Zealand. Its beauty lingers in my heart, and I find myself missing it every day since returning home.

One of the most memorable moments was arriving in Queenstown just before sunset. I stumbled upon a talented pianist named Luke and enjoyed delicious donuts from the shop next to Fergburger, all while being serenaded by his beautiful piano music. In that moment, I felt like the happiest girl in the world, and it's a memory I will cherish forever.

Before going to New Zealand, I was drawn to its stunning natural landscapes. After returning, I found myself equally enchanted by its rich cultural charm. This group tour exceeded our expectations, providing a well-paced and stress-free experience. Without the hassle of logistics, I could fully immerse myself in the wonders of New Zealand. 💕💕
