Discovering Hanoi in 3 Days: Unforgettable Experiences and Hidden Gems

Spent three days with my sisters in Hanoi, which can be considered a deep dive, don’t argue.

If you walk, then please do so with trepidation (because there is no separation of pedestrians and vehicles, and no one pays attention to traffic lights) all kinds of motorcycles 🛵 zooming by BBB until your ears are calloused [laugh-cry]

Then Grab is definitely your best choice, accurate positioning and low cost

What did we do for three days??
1️⃣ Casually browsed through vintage shops and bought the two shirts in the first picture
2️⃣ Went to the cathedral both during the day and at night (it’s still worth seeing at night)
3️⃣ Went to the internet-famous Train Street in the third picture, waited for an hour but no train came, was constantly being sold snacks by various aunties and older sisters, even shoe shining, phone screen protectors.

4️⃣ Got spa treatments every day, both hair and body, extremely cheap…

For three days of eating, I recommend these places where the average cost per person does not exceed 30
1️⃣ Pho Thin, so delicious it will make your eyes roll back, the beef broth is really amazing, and the portions are generous, dip the fried dough in and take a bite, it’s heavenly
2️⃣ Banh Mi 25, cheap Westerner meal (beef and mushroom, chicken and avocado)
3️⃣ Had egg coffee at the original Giang, very good (half sugar with extra ice)
4️⃣ Aha’s mung bean coffee has an ice cream-like texture
5️⃣ Cocktails at Asia, 50 each, the highest expense hh, it was okay

After three days, the feeling about Hanoi—
This is a place we don’t regret coming to, but we won’t come again. The prices in Hanoi are really low, the weather is great, and the people we met were polite and friendly. But the air quality is so bad that it triggers rhinitis, and coincidentally, the Vietnamese were also celebrating the Lunar New Year, burning paper on the roadside day and night, which is hard to evaluate… ❗️
