[First Impressions] The moment I stepped in, I was greeted by an incredible sight – ancient human skulls right at the entrance! Visiting on a weekday meant I had the place almost to myself, aside from some student groups. Then came the highlight: a passionate staff member who became my personal guide, showing me their turtle family (over 20 of them!) and even freshly laid eggs from May 15th. The baby turtles were so tiny they fit in my palm – their smooth shells felt magical to touch!

🦁️ The Wildlife Collection: Beyond turtles, the museum boasts an impressive array of animal specimens. The best part? Many weren’t behind glass – I actually got to touch a lion’s fur for the first time! (So much better than those unethical “pet drugged lions” experiences.) The bird collection was particularly stunning, featuring countless exotic species I’d never seen before. My guide brought everything to life with fascinating stories about each exhibit and their natural habitats.
