April 1-4 Mount Fuji Weather Forecast: Essential Travel Tips & Packing Guide

4.1 Snow or rain, 4.2 and 4.3 completely cloudy with overcast skies.
Our current itinerary has us arriving in Kyoto on March 28th, then heading to Mount Fuji on April 1st for a stay until April 4th. Unfortunately, our Tokyo hotel booking from April 6th-9th is locked in (the front desk confirmed no cancellations after I emailed them).

Here’s our Plan B: Extend our Kyoto stay until April 2nd, spend that night in vibrant Yokohama, then explore both Yokohama and historic Kamakura from April 2nd-4th. We’d visit Mount Fuji on April 5th-6th instead—hoping for clearer skies (if weather remains poor, we’ll pivot to Nagano’s stunning Lake Suwa). The Tokyo portion from April 6th-9th stays unchanged.

Weather-wise travelers: How reliable are these 15-day forecasts? [tearful emoji] Any seasoned Japan visitors have alternative suggestions? I’m feeling completely overwhelmed by options!

Attention travelers! I’m transferring my Tokyo hotel reservation at the stunning ONE@Tokyo (April 6th-9th). Nestled in peaceful Oshiage, Sumida-ku, this architectural gem designed by Kengo Kuma sits moments from the Skytree and Asakusa Temple.

Why you’ll love it:
• 3-minute walk to subway with Narita Airport direct access
• 11th-floor terrace with magical Skytree night views
• Morning room vistas that soothe the soul
• Previous stay was so perfect I rebooked immediately!

(I might still stay here after adjusting my dates [hopeful emoji]) Perfect for design lovers and convenience seekers!
