We kicked off our adventure bright and early at 7:45 AM, heading straight to the hidden gem of Hirano at Lake Yamanaka. Trust me, make this your first stop—it’s breathtakingly scenic, blissfully uncrowded, and offers ideal lighting for those picture-perfect shots. [Shy]
🚦 Our unforgettable itinerary: From Hirano Station, we strolled to Hirano Beach → The Park → Golden Torii Gate → Tenkawa Ladder Town (Hikawa Clock Shop) → Asama Park → Kawaguchiko Station → Shinjuku.
The walk from Hirano to The Park? Absolutely magical! When we missed our bus (oops!), the map showed either a tedious one-hour wait or an invigorating 50-minute walk—we chose adventure! [Smug] With plenty of photo stops, it took us about 90 minutes of pure enjoyment.
No surprises—The Park had a massive queue, so we ducked into a charming grandma-run café next door. Not only did we refuel with delicious treats, but we also scored fantastic Mt. Fuji views from their windows. Since the next bus was approaching fast, we wolfed down our lunch—missing it would mean an agonizing hour-plus wait! [Sweat][Sweat]
Hopped on the bus straight to the dazzling Golden Torii Gate, then ambled down to the whimsical Hikawa Clock Shop. Along the way, we stumbled upon a matcha latte spot—divine doesn’t even begin to describe it! [Thumbs up][Thumbs up]
Next challenge? The hike to Asama Park. While the climb left us breathless (about an hour of exertion), the reward was priceless—a sunset so spectacular it took our breath away. [Shy][Shy] The photos? Simply unreal.
We wrapped up our perfect day by taking the Fujikyu line from Shimoyoshida Station back to Kawaguchiko Station, where we explored Lawson and Ogino (check out that last album photo!).
